“Christmas Square” Marketplaces

Our Christmas Parade participants will always be the “Stars” of our evening entertainment. An early visit to one of our nearby Marketplace locations should give you, your family, and friends plenty of time to pick your favorite spot along the parade route for all of the evening festivities! These locations will provide your favorite event type foods and refreshments, plus provide the opportunity to participate in one or all of our Community Support Drives. Interested local organizations, schools, and vending companies will need to fill out a Vendor Application for consideration by the parade committee. Only selected applicants may become an “Official” Vendor for the Bakersfield Christmas Parade.

The Santa Lane Marketplace, will be located at the BC Weill Institute at the corner of 22nd and “L” Street. Our North Pole Central Marketplace will be located at the Kern Central Credit Union on the corner of 21st and “H” Street. Elf Town USA Marketplace will be on “G” Street between 21st and 20th Street. Our Fox Theater will also be opened with a full snack bar to serve you and will show a “Live” Christmas Parade telecast for your viewing enjoyment. Proceeds will benefit the Fox Foundation.

Our Marketplaces will be ready to open by 2:30 p.m. and will close at the completion of the parade. They will be ready to serve our participants in the parade assembly areas as well as our spectators! The parade committee is sure that these new additions to our parade night will be a big success!

Spectator interest in these locations may add to future plans for the parade committee’s idea of a Christmas Season “Winter Festival” leading up to an evening of fun at the Bakersfield Christmas Parade!

Remember, all Marketplace locations are within the parade route perimeter so keep in mind the roads will be closed soon after 4:00 pm. The NO PARKING signs will be enforced.
