Christmas Toy Drive - Kick Off

Win a $500.00 Gift Certificate from Walmart!  It’s easy, just bring an unwrapped toy for our Sponsor’s annual TOY DRIVE!  WalMart and KERO ABC 23 will be teaming up to support our community’s families who are in need this Christmas Season.  The KERO Toy Drive will “Kick Off” on our parade night!  WalMart and KERO 23 will give a Gift Certificate to one generous toy donor at the end of the Christmas Parade airing.  Good luck to all of you!  Spectators arriving parade night will be within walking distance to one of our “Christmas Square” Marketplace drop off locations!  These walk-to locations are all within the parade route area.  Marketplace locations will open at 2:30 pm. “Live” Christmas Parade Coverage

The Bakersfield Christmas Parade is thelargest nighttime parade in Kern County. Last year's parade drew approximately 25,000 spectators to Downtown Bakersfield. Additionally, a television audience of over 100,000 will be viewing the parade “Live” and during rebroadcasts will be expected on KERO ABC 23 TV, and Channel 42 Azteca America.   At this point, rebroadcasts will be scheduled on Bright House by Demand shortly after Dec. 3, 2009. Our friends at Channel 23 would like to rebroadcast the parade on Christmas morning.
