Due to the inability to host a typical Christmas Parade this year as a result of the COVID 19 virus, the Bakersfield Christmas Parade Committee (Committee) opted to utilize a video production format.
The video parade will consist of individually generated videos, which will be compiled and televised on numerous 23ABC platforms. With the Committee not knowing in advance, the cumulative length of time video entries will require, as each video may be of differing lengths up to a 90-second limit, we are not able to quantify the number of entrants the committee can accept for this year’s parade.
To be considered for acceptance, videos must meet standards as devised by 23ABC as well as content standards of our typical parades. Those standards include, but are not limited to, completed application and full payment. If an application is submitted incompletely, it will be disqualified.
Qualified applications will be reviewed and accepted based on their interpretation of the theme and a balance of categories.
Event Theme: Movies of Christmas
This event is a CHRISTMAS THEMED FAMILY ORIENTED parade. It is not an appropriate venue for political ideology, campaigns, or social statements.
VIEWING FORMAT: 23ABC will be hosting the parade on several viewing formats. These include Facebook, Roku, Amazon Firestick, and 23ABC App.
Payment Submission:
